miss Class D. noyes RECEIVED
A. R. C. File
Director of the Dept. of SEPISITING
papapend
Dear miss noyes,
Once
your letter of sept 19th I presume
refers to my passport difficulty
2 received orders from the transportation
my only explanation of that is that
dept. of the Red Cross to go to new york
after I had wired that I had brothers
in service. after reaching n.y I
went directly to mr. Holland who aderised me
to wait there. after a few days my
passport arrived. It was issued april 12th
apparently before the bill affecting nurses
with brothers in service become allow.
The Red Cross officials in new fille
advised me that it was perfectly all
since the Nar dept. had issued it.
right for me to travel with that paseport
I judge from your letter that you
consider me guilty of some misdemeanor
