Miss Bosa M. Schladweiler
c/o Midwestern Branch Office
American Red Cross
1709 Washington Avenue
St. Louis, Mo.
My dear Miss Schladweiler:
Supplementing our letter of April 25th accepting your application
for admission to the Teacher Training Course at Colorado Agricultural College,
we wish to advise you that registration day for this course is Monday, July
6th, and it is necessary that you should register not later than that day.
You will no doubt wish to make arrangements for living accommoda-
tions in advance so that you may be pleasantly situated. Request for same
should be made to the Summer Sessions Office; no deposit is required.
You will need to take with you at least two white uniforms. The
Red Cross, through its Instructor at the College, will supply you with the
Red Cross nurse's cap which will complete your uniform when teaching. Be
sure to take the Home Hygiene textbook with you, and you will also need a
watch with a second hand.
One other suggestion is that you should include a warm sweater,
tramping shoes, woolen hose and knickers or skirt for hiking. Because
of
the change of work, however, it will be advisable for you to become accli-
mated before indulging in strenuous exercise.
A set of mineographed material will be supplied you during the
course for which you will pay a stated sum. It is on sheets of 82 x 11e
size and will be punched for a three ring loose-leaf notebook, so that you
may keep the entire set intact as reference when you leave the College.
Trusting you will enjoy and benefit to the fullest from your sum-
mer's work at Fort Collins, and with best wishes,
Very sincerely yours,
Mrs. Isabelle W. Baker, R.N.,
National Director
Home Hygiene and Care of the Sick Service.
