DUPLICATE COPY
Branch Office to note and forward to Local Committee at
Rochester, Minn.
THE AMERICAN RED CROSS
NATIONAL HEADQUARTERS
WASHINGTON, D.C.
December 18, 1929.
Miss Rosa M. Schladwoiler,
1709 Washington,
St. Louis,
Missouri.
My dear
M1 88 Schladweiler:
Under separate cover we are mailing your appointment card and badge,
No. 49,263.
Will you please acknowledge their receipt on the postal card enclosed
with the badge, and for verification kindly give number?
We find that you meet our requirements for enrolment, as follows:
You are a graduate of an accredited training school, whose hospital cares for
a daily average of over fifty patients, or by affiliation or post graduate
course you have supplemented your training in a small school or special hospi-
tal; you are a registered nurse; a member in good standing of your alumnae and
a citizen of the United States. You will be expected each year to renew your
membership in your alumnae, in order to continue to meet our requirements for
enrolment.
Since Secretaries of Local Committees notify nurses called for active
service, it is important that correct names and addresses be filed with them.
Nurses failing to report change of name or address may be dropped from the
enrolment list, as provided in our rules.
Assuring you of our appreciation of your enrolment, believe me,
Sincerely yours,
Clasa D.noyes
Chairman, National Committee,
Red Cross Nursing Service.
