Proposed Contribution to
American Nurses' Association
With reference to our conversation of a day or two ago, I attach
Mrs. Conrad's letter of today to me and a copy of letter of July 10 ad-
dressed to her by Mrs. Alma H. Scott, executive secretary of the American
Nurses' Association. This letter will explain the reason for the Associ-
ation's request for a contribution from the American Red Cross.
Attached also as of interest in this connection is an article
appearing in the June issue of "Public Health Nursing", which gives some
description of the exhibit entitled "The Army Nurse in War" referred to
by Mrs. Scott.
If you approve of the proposed contribution of $1,000 and will
so advise me, I shall see that the transaction is put through.
Please return the attached with your reply.
