My dear Mr. Shuford:

Miss Johns-n the Atlantic Division of the
Bed Cross has written to us of your anxiety anneerning your
sister, Agnes Shufard, who is in Siberia, and asked us to
communicate with youe The latt report we have reseived from
Siberia is dated natober 9th, and at that time our personnel
was saf9. For a time a namber of the nurses Who went over
with your sister were hold up in Japan on account of the ann-
ditions. in Siberia, but this report states that they had all
reached Vladivostak. We an not yet know where your sister has
been assigned tn duty, but whon we reseive any information in
regard to her we will forward the same to you at onde. we under-
stand that there is great irrogularity in the se do not
left the fast that you have not hear? from her necessarily alarm
you.
