"y dear liss Hay;
Ynur letter of February 13th, containing Miss Nelson's
reports, etc., the reading of which will be defferred until later, are
now on my desk.
I note'what you say regarding Miss Sinck, Miss NeGovern
and Wapes, Tn Misn Melson's brief letter of transmittal, she mentions the
clothing for the Austrian nurses as heing greatly appreciated. Poor things
T wonder how they are getting along now, with the further deterioiration of
the currancy.
Is it not a pity, that asstronger nurse might not
have been in charme in Serbia from.the beginning of the prograile You
will recall that both you and I spoke of this to Dr. Reeder when ve
saw him for a frief period in Belgrade. The nurses who return speak
quite frankly on this jubject, perhaps more frankly than they would
in Surope.
De you not think we should ask Miss Nelson and others
to dissontinue the use of the term "nurses aids"? Tt is not in use
in this country, and inasinuch as th e term "health visitors" is used
elsewhere, in our work, it seems very importent that unifornity should
be followed.
