Nisn Johnson, Director, Nursing
August a, 1921.
service, Atlantic Divisione
Miss Butler, Assistant. to the
Annie E. Slack, €15504,
Director, Nursing Service.
Referring to the portion of your letter of July 26 regarding Annão
Slack, we are delightad to find that she can be available efter
August 31. Could sha not make errangement 9 to seik September 3, or would
we need to wait int: il September 10 for her? We will be glad to have her ad-
dress DO that papera may be forwarded to her. We feal that she conld be
fitted in for Serbia. I hope that she will go without Miss Lamont asI nm
sure that Mies Noyes would not be willing to consider Miss Lemont.
In looking over Miss Sanck's pepers, I note that at the time of her
release she was réceiving a anlary ox $310 a month. I hardly believe that
we could sand hor back at such a rate. If for instanca ahe were sent to
Serbia, after arriving in Parte, I am sure that the Serbian Child Welfere
Association would only be willing to pay her at the rate of $80 n. month.
I
will, hovevar, take this watter up with Mise Noyes for a definite ruling.
Wa still have Mise Sleck enrolled in Paris, France. Could you not
secure her permanent address so that she conld he transferred to sheommittes
in this country?
