Ext. from letter from Miss Florence Johnson, Director, Nursing, Atlantic Division,
7-26-21:
"Annie Slack, concerning whom Miss Hay cabled, and whose credentials we
have already forwarded you, will be at Liberty after the thirty-first of August,
and is very anxious to go back. She has done so much work overseas that I should
feel she would be an admirable person. She speaks French, Italian and some
Albanian, but will be glad to go to Serbia if the occasion arose.

mont desires to go with th her, but I fancy that from her previous record you
would not be so anxious to send her over again. I think she has already inter-
viewed the Chief In Washington and when I spoke of her the other day, Miss Noyes
was not over enthusiastic. "
