Miss Annie Earle Slack,
c/o Near East Relief,
209 P.O. Box,
Aleppo,
Syria.
My dear Miss Slack:
In view of thé fact that you are now living
in Syria and will, no doubt, be out of this country for an
indefinite period, we have secured your Red Cross enrollment
record (#2 card) from the Manhattan, New York, Local Committee
and the same will be held here at National Headquarters until
such time as you may return to the United States and locate
within the jurisdiction of one of our Local Committees on
Red Cross Nursing Service.
May I ask you to be good enough to keep this
office advised of any change in your address and also promptly
answer any communications which may come to you from us from
time to time, in order that your records as an American Red
Cross nurse may be kept up to date.
With my good wishes, believe me
Very truly yours,
Clara D. Noyes,
National Director,
Nursing Service.
