My dear Miss Smith:
Your letter of the 10th has just reach me and I
am glad to learn that you are back at your home in Seattle and that
transportation was given you for the return trip. It has been our
desire to treat our personnel with the utmost consideration and
provide for transportation to their own homes in accordance with
our agreement.
I feel sure that you understsnd, however, why it
was not done in the beginning in your case without questions.

I am sorry that your work in France was not sat-
isfactory to you. I should be very glad indeed to receive a full
report from you regarding the work you did and the reasons why you
folt thit it was not conducted in accordance with our idea of
efficiency.
Please do not let us lose sight of you for we are
hearing rumors of units for other countries and have been asked
asked to hold an eligible list for Siberia. Would you be interest-
ed in work in that country?
