July 12 1941 Will you please transmit the following message and promptly deliver the same to the party addressed, for and on account of the American National Red Cross: Mrs Harriet Smith Hudsonville Mi chigan We have further news of your daughter Leurine Our doctor has flown to Iceland where Laurine is and she with the other nine rescued nurses are being sent by plane with our doster to England As far as we know Laurine is in good condition Mary Beard FW GB 3 c 71395
