Miss Laurine Alva Smith
ButterWorth Hospital,
Grand Rapids, Michigan
My dear Miss Smith:
The date on which the nurses of the Unit will
leave for England is still indefinite. lie feel it
will not be until about February 15. However, we
still advise that you not give up your present position
until you hear from us again.
As soon as 5 physician has been appointed in
Michigan, arrangements for your final physical exem-
ination will be completed and we shall inform you of
such arrangements.
the are enclosing with this letter a copy of the
uniforms and personal clothing instructions and also
a copy of the plans for insurance.
