Mr. George baith April 14, 1943 Attention Mr. Vin. Vale Supply Service, Printcraft Bldg. Mr. Mitchell On February 12th I authorized you to clear two trunks belonging to the nurses mentioned below. We have had word from one of these nurses, Niss Somerville, stating that she has received e letter from a Mr. Gray, 45 Broadway, New York City, saying that her trunk cannot be released until she puys $20 customs. Will you please notify the proper authorities that Mías Somerville was in Eagland e yeur, that in July 1941, on her way to Englend, she lost all of her possessions which had to be replaced in England. There would seem to be no reason for custoas duty of $20 unless there is some very unusual article among her possessions. Nurses: Mias Helen Jurewicz 218 Auguste St. So. Aaboy, w.J. Miss Margaret I.
