    "ocrText": "April 14, 1943\nMiss Margaret Somerville\n171 Broad Street\nCatskill, New York\nMy dear Miss Somerville:\nMiss Beard has already written to you in response to your\nletter of April 7, but she has asked ne to give you further information\non your specific questions. We have referred your letter to the Red\nCross Supervisor of Insurance with the request that he write to you\ndirectly regarding the question of the insurance payments. The delays\nin this are, I an sure, very difficult to accept when one is uncertain\nand not feeling well, but they have really been unavoidable.\nI cannot understand the difficulty you have had with'your\ntrunk as we thought we had attended to everything necessary when we\narranged to have it sent to you pre-paid. I am sure the situation will\nbe straightened out when examined further, but I can readily understand\nhow it has been one more thing to require your attention at a time when\nsuch things are difficult to deal with. I am requesting that a nemorad-\ndun be sent at once to the New York office indicating that we can see no\nreason for duty and explaining your service.\nPlease do not hesitate to write regarding any point on which\nyou would like to have information or help, and about which you would\nvery naturally talk to us if you were nearer.\nSincerely yours,\nVirginia M.
