My dear Miss Stein:
Owing to the reason that your letter dated
December 12th was addressed to the American Red Cro ss and not
to the Nursing Service it was routed to several of the other
Services before it reached us.
Miss Ada Holden Stafford, about whom you
are asking, is an enrolled Red Cross-nurse. She was sent
with our Siberian Commission in 1919. Her final
however, report states that that the her nursing ability was good. efficiency We found,
very trying environment to which the nurses
in this service were submitted somewhat effected Miss Stafford's
general service.
Since
