her orders too late to connect at San Francisco for the boat she was told
to take, hence the two sets of telegrams etc.
MissStafford's father Mr.Charles L stafford whose name probably
appears on your books as her nearest relative, died just after Miss Stafford
sailed for Siberia, her sister is therefore her nearest relative, now.
