My dear Miss Stebbins:
Thank you very much for your note advis-
ing us of your location at your permanent address in Lebanon,
Missouri. We are taking it for granted that you are now expect-
ing to be located in Lebanon indefinitely, but we would like
to have your direct advice regarding this before we request
your No. 2 card from the St. Louis, Missouri, Local Committee
for transfer to our Springfield, Missouri, Local Committee in
the territory of which Lebanon is located.
Furthermore, if you are no longer to be
located in the territory of the St. Louis Committee and are
transferred to our Springfield Committee, this will terminate
your service as a member of our St. Louis Committee and this
is another reason why we want to be absolutely sure regarding
your residence in Lebanon before making the changes in our
records.
Of course, your change of address will
have no effect whatever on your service as Chairman of the
Missouri State Committee on Red Cross Nursing Service, as you
are still located in the State. In this case we have simply
changed your address in our file of the personnel of the Missouri
State Commi ttee.
We will be grateful if you will let us
hear from you in reply to this letter at your earliest opportuni ty
when we will see that the proper changes are made in all our records
in this office.
