dear Miss Stone:
The Graduate Nurses' Association of Virginia
has advised us of your willingness to continue service as
Cheirman of our Virginia State Committee and recommends your
reappointment.
We are very glad to know that you are available
for this service and take pleasure in hereby appointing you
Chairman of the Virginia State Committee on Red Cross Nurs-
ing Service for the coming year. This appointment is made
in accordance with the rules governing our Committees as set
forth in the enclosed pamphlet, ARC 710 and we call your special
attention to the paragraphs regarding State Committees as found
on pages 5 and 6.
For your information and file, we are enclosing
a complete list of the personnel of the Virginia State Committee.
You will note that the Secretary has not been appointed, but
we are assured by the State Association that someone will be
nominated for appointment at an early date. We shall keep you
advised.
