    "ocrText": "January Twenty Fifth\n1\n9\n2\n3\nMiss Helen Teal\n734 E Mitchell St\nKendallville Ind\nMy dear Miss Teal\nAs you know Miss Holmes and Miss Van Duzor planned their re-\nsignations to take place at the same time in order to start their\nfarming careers together. It now appears that the first of April\nor possibly the 15th of April would be a more convenient time for\nthem to open their New England cottage than the first of March.\nThe N.O.P.H.N. is particular anxious to keep Miss Van Duzor as\nlong as possible as her successor has not yet been secured. If it\ncan be ar ranged for Miss Holmes to remain with the Red Cross until\nat least the first of April MissVan Duzor will stay with the N.O.P.\nH.N. until that time also.\nI am writing now to see if by any chance you can remain in your\npresent position a month longer coming to us the first of April in-\nstead of the first of March. If all your plans are laid and it\nwould be a serious inconvenience to you to have your appointment with\nus postponed a month, I of course do not want to ask it of you, but\nif you can remain where you are just as well as not and if it makes\nno particular difference to you I shall appreciate the opportunity\nthis will give to postpone Miss Holmes' resignation and consequently\nMiss Van Duzor's until the first of April.
