Miss Helen Teal,
13613 Carden Rd,
Cleveland, Ohio.
My dear "iss Toal:
Your letter of Tuesday Nas just reached mo. The
telegrams were the first I had heart fany discussion regarding your
salary. My own idea was that the people would come to us at the
salaries they are now receiving, with the understanding that the
adjustments could be made later, on the basia of increased work and
responsibilities, A telegra has been sant to this effect. I do
not believe for a moment that you will be able to handle this work
without a great des] of assistance. Mrs. Baker will study it for
a time with you, and the recommend-tions will be made later. The
whole situation is more or less in a tentative state, and I trust
that you will come with the understanding that you will be treated
with the utmost fairness and generosity.
Sincerely yours,
Director - Nursing Service.
