August 29, 1923. My dear Mrs. Sterns Since writing you, one of our nurses here, thase Helen Teal has been to me to find out 17 there was anyone in the Montane who would be willing to take her in, give her a room and breakfast. I immediately thought of your nice room and of you, and have told her all about you and she is decidedly interested. Is your room still available and what is the earliest date upon which you could take her? As she has to consider her expenses somewhat, will you let me know what would be the minimum price that you would have to receive for your room, with broakfast? I assure you Miss Teal is a very charming, nice girl, very quiet, and she is anxious to get into just euch a home as youra where it is quiet and where shis has the opportunity to read and study. I told her about your porch and that particularly appaals to her. Will you please answer this letter as soon as possible and I will than give your address to Miss Teal and let her complete the bargain with you herself. In the meantime, do not forget that I looking forward when I get back from my vacation to having my breakfast and dinner with you, if it is possible for you to make this arrangement. Sincerely trusting that you will be able to consider this plan, I am Yours very truly, Ida F. Butler, Assistant to the Director, Nursing Service. IFB: IM
