My dear Miss Thomas:
Miss Haig has forwarded to this office your application for
admission to the Teacher Training Course for Home Hygiene Instauctors at
Colorado Agricultural College. I am glad to accept you as a student for
this special work.
In planning for the summer in Fort Collins you will need to
take the following with you:
1. At least two white uniforns (long sleeves, moderate
length)
2. Either white or black shoes with sensible heels and
stockings to match.
3. Watch with second hand.
4. Home Hygiene textbook.
The Red Cross through its Instructor at the College, will furnish you with
the Red Cross nurses cap which will complete your uniform while teaching.
Registration for the Teacher Training Course will take place on
Monday, July 10th, in Guggenheim Hall of Household Arts, on the College
Campus. It is very important that you register on that day. Should there
be any change in your plans which would prevent your attending summer school,
please let me know at once.
In regard to living accomodations, you may wish to communicate
with Mies Helen Rrout, 507 W. Mulberry, Fort Collins. Miss Prout has recent-
ly written us about the Theta House where many of our nurses have stayed dur-
ing the past two sumners. This year room and board has been reduced to $30
a month. Information regarding other living accomodations may be secured
from the college.
With good wishes and hoping you will have a very profitable and
enjoyable summer, I am
Sincerely yours,
I. Malinde Havey
