46642 Miss Minnie H. Ahrens, Director, Bureau if Nursing, Central Division April 29, 1919 Mrs. Elsbeth Vaughan, Act. Director, Bureau of Field Nursing Service. We sent you a day letter requesting that you rush the loyalty papers of Anna Louise Tittman #6072. As Miss Tittman is very baddy needed in Siberian we are trying to do everything in our power to get her in readiness for as early a sailing as possible. Her equipment card and measuremont slip also letter of instructions were sent in your care. Will you kindly see that she returns those promptly to the equipment bureauir New York, and that she also makes her application for passport and obtains her 3 copies of male affi- davits at once? Two copies should come to thisofrice, the other one should be forwarded with her application for passport by the clerk of the court. We have notified Miss Mackay whosis in charge of the Equipment Bureau in New York that we are particular anxious to get Miss Tittman ready early, and have requested her to put her equipment through by the earliest possible date. We also wired for a definite address where we could communicate with Miss Tittman. The loyalty apers of Lois Hammersberg #34092 have been cleared by the War Department. W/LK
