- 2 - Mrs. Laura Knowlton Turner - May 26, 1937 who meet the requirements for enrollment in the Red Cross Nursing Service, to become enrolled Red Cross nurses, and we are sure Miss Beal, will be glad to send you a few sets of enrollment application papers, upon request, so you may have them on hand to give to any nurses whom you may be able to interest. It should be made clear to the applicants, however, that as soon as the papers have been filled in according to the instructions given, they should be forwarded to Miss Beal, the Secretary, who will be responsible for collecting the necessary credentials and completing the applications for the action of the National Committee. The enclosed pamphlet, ARC 703, clearly sets forth the requirements for enrollment and will, we are sure, be of assistance to you in giving other nurses this information. We hope we have been able to make all this clear to you but if not, please do not hesitate to write us for additional information. Although we are sure you are acquainted with both the officers of the Maine State and Local Committee, we repeat that Miss Ingeborg C. Johansen, Farmington State Normal School, Purington Hall, Farmington, Maine, is the Chairman, and the name and address of the Secretary has already been given in this letter. Assuring you of our appreciation of your interest in the Red Cross Nursing Service and of your willingness to render this service, I am Sincerely yours, Secretary, National Committee Red Cross Nursing Service
