Knowlton\nNursing Field Representative, A.R.C..\nBox 75\nVassalboro, Maine\nMy dear Miss Knowlton:\nWe have just decided that in order to avoid\nany possible confusion of records, it would be a wise plan\nto bring the #2 cards, or committee enrollment record cards,\nof all our Nursing Field Representatives in to this office\nholding them in their, personal folders here at National Head-\nquarters during the period of their field service. This means\nthat while you are a Red Cross Nursing Field Representative\nyour #2 card will be on file at National Headquarters instead\nof the Local Committee on Red Cross Nursing Service which has\nbeen holding it and you will receive your annual address ques-\ntionnaires for completion, directly from Washington.\nWe are writing our Maine State and Local Committee\nfor your #2 card at this time. As soon as it reaches us and your\ntransfer is actually effected, we will send you the usual official\nadvice of your transfer to National Headquarters.\nHoping you will approve of this decision, I am\nVery sincerely yours\nNational Director\nNursing Service\nMR:SR"
