My dear Miss Knowlton:
The Maine State Nurses' Association has just
advised us of your willingness to serve as a member of our Maine
State and Local Committee on Red Cross Nursing Service and of
the fact that you were recommended for appointment thereon, at
its recent annual meeting held this month.
We are very glad to know that you are available
for this service and take pleasure in informing you that you are
hereby appointed a member of the Maine State and Local Committee
on Red Cross Nursing Service for the coming year. This appointment
is made in accordance with the rules governing such Committees, a
copy of which is enclosed.
For your information, may we state that the officers
of your Committee are as follows:
