I wish to recommend that a scholarship of $50 and a loan of $100
be granted to Laura F. Knowlton to enable her to take six weeks post-
graduate work in public health nursing at Teachers College beginning July 7,
1924.
Miss Knowlton has served successfully in two chapter services. She
has shown unusual ability. Her public health nursing training embraced
four months preparation as an undergraduate nurse. She is especially recom-
mended for this scholarship and loan by the Director of Nursing, New England
Division.
