My deur Dr. Burger:
On the recommendation of Dr. Amos Christie, assistant Director,
Medical and Health Service, National Headquarters, American Red Cross, we
are ref rring to you for prysical excunination, Miss Sunshine, Eleanore
Warren, a Red Cross nurse viho is interested in boing considered for service
in Hawill. the are now writing her to get in touch with you for an ap-
pointment.
As in all energencies or foreign service physical
tamina and enotional stability of high order are essential. To uid us
in the evaluation of tiese qualities we are enlisting your services for
this physical exanination. We shall appreciate your cooperation, and will
see that you are compensated at two rate of fivé dollera (65.00) 1'or the
examination.
A physicil report form is herewith enelosed. The
physicol roport, bill and any recommendation for further exuminations
should be sent to this office, through which they will be referred to our
Personnel Service.
