Miss Ward,
in Nursing Service of the Red Cross,
Washington, D.C.
Dear Miss Ward;-
I have a package of two corsets to send to
Miss B. Sandmaier, Durazzo, Albania, and the Post
Office will not accept a Parcel post package to
that destination. I have called up the Red Cross
headquarters, but cannot get any definite information.
Miss Bartlett, who is going to Siberia, suggested
that I write you and see if I could not get from you the
address of Miss Johnson in New York, who perhaps could
give me the necessary information to send the corsets.
She must be badly in need of them for she cabled.
Appreciating very much any instructions or in-
formation you can give me, and hoping for an early
reply, I am,
Sincerely yours,
E Bacer
EBW J.
