I am most interested to der abcut the hone which youland
Mies Hall have bought. It is one of the dreams of my
life to visit Galifornia, end I often wonder if it is a
dream that will over comeo tirueste For the lest five years
I seen to have been pretty well glued to one spot - by
necessity I aseure you - and not from choice. Our meager
vacation, once a year, givesme the one opportunity to see
my family, 80 that inetendief tasing it for sightsseing
and visiting new scenes a "bee-line" for Cenn.
You just exercise your will-pover over Miss Francie so that
she will route your trip home through Washington. During
Mise hoyes abeence 1 have had very pleasant contact with
Mise Ledyard, she must be a very attractive person. Miss
Noyes will soon be turning her face homeward, ehe is accord-
ing to her itinerary in Constantinople, and sails the end of
the week for America. The voyage takes three meeke, 80 we
do not look for her in the office before the 28th, and then
only for a short time, because she must run off on the 12th
of Getober to attend the Annual Convention, then ehe goes up
to the New York State Nurses' Meeting, and so on.
Everything goes on here sbout the dame. You may see new
faces if you visit us, but you will also see a great many of
the old ones. In spite of the budgets and reorgamization,
and people who are not sympathetic because they do not know
the Nureing Service, it continues to develop. lie have some
interesting new phases now, one is thato.K'ing of the nursee
for the Reserve Hompital Unite being euhorideed under the
National Defense Act.
