The following nurses, assigned to the Red Cross Harvard Field
Hospital Unit, asiled before it was possible to obtain their white
uniforms according to the regular arrangement. They were authorised, there-
fore, if they did not already have four white uniforms in good condition,
to purchase that number. As they had to purchase what was available at
short notice, they were not limited to a specifie price. The price per
uniform will probably range from $2.00 to 85.00.
May we have approval for reimbursing for this amount on the
basis of statements made by the nurses where no receipt is enclosed?
We do not know exactly which of these nurses had to purchase uniforms
in this way.
