Verna H. Wilkinson for the outstanding services that she has
unselfishly rendered to the inner city residents of Charlotte,
North Carolina, during the past several years
Mrs Wilkinson deserves special recognition for her services
to the community based on the following
Working beyond the call of duty in her untiring efforts
to serve disavantaged families
Neighborhood based classes in Mother and Baby Care
Educational courses in Home Nursing and Mother's aide.
Serving on the Health Task Force of the Charlotte
Model Neighborhood Commission. Mrs. Wilkinson pro-
vided a valuable in-put to the Health Task Force's
work during the developmental process of the health
component for the Charlotte Model Cities Plan
