23738 Extract from Miss Johnson's letter of July 28, 1922. Miss Annie Williams (Miss Annie Williams who has also been over for two years has bean in, but I think she has had more social service than hospital work. Will keep our eyes open for a likely person." Extract from liss Butler's letter in reply to the above. Il We also have looked up the record of Miss Annie Williams. I am wondering if you know that she had rather an unfortunate experience while with the Siberian Unit and the report of her conduct is not altogether satisfac- tory, though we understand she is a splendid social service worker and also is an exceptional woman. I imagine from the report that she is a woman who makes quick decisions, and sometime's is not guarded in her critidisms of others, to such an extent that she caused considerable trouble where she was. Aside from that I do not find that she has had the necessary experience for the work in Haiti." when above was written it was not known that ahe had just returned from Serbia ; had previously been listed a miss a. g. William
