When sending this information to National Headquarters it was my intention
that it would be used for future reference. It seems that the menopause
>
could be responsible for her erractic actions, and am convinced that that
is her trouble.

K ,
The member of the American Personnel who took this matter up was, I suppose,
Miss Hurt. Miss Tittman was not informed of this particular case, probably
e
because everything was done very hurriedly at vladivostok at the last moment
and it just didn't come up. Therefore, I feel that Miss Tittman is in no
position to judge. This rather proves in a way that Miss Hurt was given
a
great deal of latitude and that she was given reason to doubt my judgement
in passing on personnel that served in the interior.
You will be glad to know that Miss Pinder is Director of Nursing in the
Southwestern Division, St.Louis, Mo.
Yours sincerely,
Prace Harrington
DIRECTOR DEPARTMENT OF NURSING
AND BUREAT OF PUBLIC HEALTH.
