My dear Mr. Lewey: Your letter of June 22nd to Miss Florence Johnson has been forwarded to this office. Miss Annie L. Williams is an enrolled Red Cross nurse and from the records which we have on file for her we are very glad indeed to recommend her for ser- vice with the Serbian Relief Committee. She has recently returned from Siberia where she rendered the Red Cross most satisfactory service for about one year. Miss Williams is spoken of as a very exceptional woman and splendid social ser- vice worker. Trusting you may be able to give Niss Williams the appointment she desires, I am Very sincerely, Director, Dept. of Nursing. R
