21654 August 22nd,1918 Miss Hattie Wilson, 28 Eact Mill Street, Plymouth, Wis., My doer Miss Wilson:- Your application for foreign service has been approved by the War Department,and es soon as the Bureau of Trans- portation can secure accomodations for you on a steamer they will send you the date on which you are booked to sail with additional instructions for your final arrangements to sail. I would suggest that you secure a copy of your birth certificate and have three dosen photographs taken without a hat on. The head sizo to be 1 x 1-1/4 inches. Please do not give up any position that you may be holding until you have been definitely notified by the Bureau of Transportation concerning your sailing date.
