Thank you for your letter of March 24 enclosing copy of the
communication received from Miss Nina D. Gage, Chairman of the China
Committee on Red Cross Nursing Service.

Miss Murdoch, whose death is reborded by Miss Gage, does not
appear to be enrolled or enrolling in the American Red Cross Nursing Service.
In regard to the transfer of Miss Anna Dryden Wolf, who is now in
China in the Pekin Union Medical College Hospital, may I say that before this
you have doubtless received my letter of the 25th giving you Miss Wolf's
enrollment number and suggesting that you request her transfer from the
Potomac Division.
