    "ocrText": "OFFICE\nCOMMITTEE AREA MAR 3 ADVISED 1943\nOctober 3. 1942\nAIRMAIL # SPECIAL DELIVERY\nMiss Elizabeth Fright\n3177 Magnolia Street\nCorpus Christi, Texas\nMy dear Miss Wright:\nYour physical has been approved by our Red Cross medical advisor\nand we are now in a position to offer you, the appointment of staff nurse\nwith the emergency civilian hospital being set up on the Island of Kauni\nunder the jurisdiction of the O.C.D. in the Territory of Hawnii. This\nposition careles the salary of $110 a month, including room, two meals\ntake\nday and laundering of uniforms, Your salary will start from the date\ntime\nyou arrive in San Francisco as will also the terms of employment with\nthe O.C.D. in accordance with the notification which was sent to you on\nSeptember 3.\nIn order to complete final arrangements for your departure, will you\nplease read over very carefully all detailed instructions which appeanls\nclosed.\nWe are enclosing a check for $200 to cover your expenses for travel\nand maintenance. Please be sure to fill out all the necessary forms now\nin your possession and return them to this office as soon as you are able\nto complete them. Also please note the instructions concerning funds for\ntraveling expenses which are enclosed.\nTherefore, enclosed you will find the following:\n1. Advance check for $200\n2. Instructions re funds for travel\n3. Reimbursement agreement\n4. Record of traveler's checks\n5. Supplementary information\n6.
