    "ocrText": "164\nSTATES OF\nS\nSTATE\nAt a Court of Common Pleas holden at Minchester\nwithin and for the County of Litchfield, in the State of Connecticut, on the First Monday of September A. D. 1885\nsaid Court being a Court of Record, having Common Law jurisdiction, and a Clerk and Seal.\nPRESENT, HON Donald S. Marner\nJUDGE.\nThe following named persons, each for himself, on the day and date set against his name appeared in open Court and applied to be admitted to become a citizen of the United States. And each for himself, then\nexhibited to said Court a certificate of the declaration of intentions made by him before the authority, and at the time hereinafter set against his name, as on file, and required as the first condition, according to the first\nsection of the Act of Congress, entitled \" An act to establish an uniform rule of Naturalization, and to repeal the Act heretofore passed on that subject,\" approved 14th of April, 1802. And it appearing to the satisfac-\ntion of the Court that said applicant has resided within the United States five years at least, last past, and in the State of Connecticut one year at least, last past, and that during said five years he has behaved as a man\nof good moral character, attached to the principles of the Constitution of the United States, and well disposed to the good order and happiness of the same. And the said applicant having declared on oath that he\nwould support the Constitution of the United States, and that he did absolutely and entirely renounce all allegiance and fidelity to any Foreign Prince, Potentate, State and Sovereignty whatever, and particularly to the\nPrince, Potentate, State, Sovereignty and Government set against his name, of which he was before a subject. It was, therefore considered by the Court that the said applicant be, and he was accordingly, admitted\nto become\nA CITIZEN OF THE UNITED STATES.\nName.\nResident.\nNaturalized.\nIntentions declared before the\nFormer Sabject of the Government of\nEdgar th blossey\nMinchesta\nSept.11th\nCount of bommow Plear for Sitch,\nGreat Britain\nIn the County of Litekfield.\n1885\nhulabo Comm sether 1883"
