    "ocrText": "238\nSTATES OF\nB\n6\nSTATE DE\nAt a Court of Common Pleas holden at\nMinitestor\nwithin County Litchfield, the First Monday of Septimber A.\nand for the of in the State of Connecticut, on\nD. 188.9\nsaid Court being a Court of Record, having Common Law jurisdiction, and a Clerk and Seal.\nPRESENT, HON What T. Rosaback\nJUDGE.\nThe following named persons, each for himself, on the day and date set against his name appeared in open Court and applied to be admitted to become a citizen of the United States. And each for himself, then\nexhibited to said Court a certificate of the declaration of intentions\nmade by him before the authority, and at the time hereinafter set against his name, as on file, and required as the first condition, according to the first\nsection of the Act of Congress, entitled \" An act to establish an uniform rule of and to on\nNaturalization, repeal the Act heretofore passed that subject,\" approved 14th of April, 1802. And it appearing to the satisfac-\ntion of the Court that said applicant has resided within the at last and in the State of one year at\nUnited States five years least, past, Connecticut least, last past, and that during said five years he has behaved as a man\nof good moral character, attached to the principles\nof the Constitution of the United States, and well disposed to the good order and happiness of the same. And the said applicant having declared on oath that he\nwould support the Constitution of the United States, and that he did and renounce all any\nabsolutely entirely allegiance and fidelity to Foreign Prince, Potentate, State and Sovereignty whatever, and particularly to the\nPrince, Potentate, State, Sovereignty and Government set his of which he was before a was,\nagainst name, subject.
