257 STATES OF of 19 B LIPLURIBUS UNUM STATE DE adjument to new milfordin sand born within and for the County of Litchfield, in the State of Connecticut, on the First 1 Monday of September Hourth At a Court of Common Pleas holden at bitchfuld A. D. 184.0. and said Court being a Court of Record, having Common Law jurisdiction, and a Clerk and Seal. HON alberto 1. Roraback JUDGE. The following named each for himself, on the day and date set against PRESENT, his name appeared in open Court and applied to be admitted to become a citizen of the United States. And each for himself, then and for- there declared, on oath, was, more persons, that it and for than three next previous to said date, had been his bona fide intention to become a citizen of the United States, and absolutely and entirely before to renounce ever all allegiance to any Foreign Prince, Potentate, State or Sovereign whatever, particularly years and to the Prince, Potentate, State, Sovereignty and Government set against his name, of which he was which a subject. on the day and year set against his name, and in the State of Connecticut one year at least, and that during said five years he has behaved as a man of good moral character, attached to the principles and that he did And it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that said has resided within the United States five years at years applicant least, and three next previous to his arriving at the age of twenty-one years, of the Constitution happened of the United State, and well disposed to the good order and happiness of the same. And the said applicant having declared on oath that he would support the Constitution of the United States, Government absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any Foreign Prince, Potentate, State and Sovereignty whatever, and particularly to the Prince, Potentate, State, Sovereignty and set as aforesaid against his name, of which he was before a subject. It was therefore considered by the Court that the said applicant be, and he was accordingly, admitted to become A CITIZEN OF THE UNITED STATES. Resident. Arrived at Age.
