78 Ata Sup Court, holden at Litchfield, in and for the County of Litchfield, in the State of Connecticut, on the 4th Tuesday of I am 7 in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and lifty sum hus PRESENT-HON David 6. Sumpered Judge Be it Remembered, That on the sixth day of February 11 in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred afifty learn mark with of Gosher in said County of Litehfield, being an alien and a free white person, appeared in open Court, (the said Court being a Court of Record, having Common Law Jurisdiétion, and a Clerk and Seal,) and applied to be admitted to become a citizen of the United States. And the said Witch then exhibited to the Court a Certificate of the declaration of intention made by him before the bluh of the County Cent in it for Decide County and required as the first condition according to the first section of the Act of Congress entitled "An Actifo establish an uniform rule of Naturalization, and to repeal the acts heretofore passed on that subject." Approved 14th of April, 1802, as follows: STATE OF CONNECTICUT, COUNTY OF ss. the it Remembered, That on the 30th day of December A. D. 1854, before the bluh of the leumly Court, within and for said County, having Common Law jurisdiction, with a Clerk and a Seal, per- sonally appeared, L. S. much Welch of Gosher to in said County, who was born in Ireland aged about luruly rix years, and on oath did declare that it was bona fide his intention to become a CITIZEN OF THE UNITED STATES, and to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to every foreign Prince,"Poten- tate, State and Sovereignty, whatever-and particularly to Victoria Seem of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, of whom he is now a subject. In Testimony Where- of, I, Henry 03 Graves Clerk of said Court, have hereunto set my hand, and Seal of the said Court, the day and year aforesaid. bins odi To has Henry B. Issues Clerk.
