Sanfred Bucky\nthe it Remembered, That on the lifth\nday of more within in\nthe\nyear of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and /ifty sum Simothy alien and O'enrow free white\nappeared in open Court, (the said Court being a Court of Record, having Common Law Jurisdietion, and\nof Al/\nin said County of Litehfield, being an a person,\na Clerk and Seal,) and applied to be admitted to become a citizen of the United States. And the said\n(l' Cenner\nthen exhibited to the Court a Certificate of the declaration of intention\nmade\nby him before the bluch of the Ceurily burt\nin for Duice County\nand required as the first condition according to the first section of the Act of Congress entitled \"An Actito\nestablish an uniform rule of Naturalization, and to repeal the acts heretofore passed on that subject.\"\nApproved 14th of April, 1802, as follows:\nSTATE OF CONNECTICUT,\nCOUNTY OF Liletifical\nss.\nthe it Remembered, That on the 14th\nday\nof Number\nA. D. 185 4 before the\nleluch of the County Court, within and for said County,\nhaving Common Law jurisdiction, with a Clerk and a Seal, per-\nsonally appeared,\nvilenos\nL.S.\nSimestry Couner\nof rulikh\nlo\nin said\nCounty,\nwho was born in Inlund\naged about July\nyears, and on oath did declare that\nit was bona fide his intention to become a CITIZEN OF THE\nUNITED STATES, and to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to every foreign Prince, Poten-\ntate, State and Sovereignty, whatever-and particularly to\nVictoria Queen\nof the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, of whom he is now a subject. In Testimony Where-\nof, I, Menry B thans\nClerk of said Court, have hereunto set my\nhand, and Seal of the said Court, the day and year aforesaid. bies nda 10\nHenry B. Grans\nClerk.\nAnd it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court, that said Ca: lenner resided\nwithin the United States five years at least,\nJausi onl midriow\nJnd and in the State of Connecticut one year at least, and that during said five years\nhe has behaved as a man of good moral character, attached to the principles of the Constitution ofithe\nUnited States, and well disposed to the good order and happiness of the same.\nhog\nAnd the said ll benner\nhaving declared on oath, that he would support\nthe CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES, and that he did absolutely and entirely renounce\nand abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign Prince, Potentate, State or Sovereignty whatever, and\nparticularly to Victoria Queen\nof the United Kingdom of\nGreat Britain and Ireland, of whom he was before a subject. It was therefore considered by the Court,\nthat Sinverthy or Commun\nbe, and he was accordingly admitted\nto become a Citizen of the UNITED STATES.\nof"
