Demic b. Sanland Inder\nthe it Rememberrò, That on the ten the\nday of mene with in\nthe\nyear of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and lifty cein Petru memblen\nof An/orh\nin said County of Litchfield, being an alien and a free white person,\nappeared in open Court, (the said Court being a Court of Record, having Common Law Jurisdiction, and\na Clerk and Seal,) and applied to be admitted to become a citizen of the United States. And the said\nmundum\nthen exhibited to the Court a Certificate of the declaration of intention\nmade by him before 1 th\nSuperver bunt\nand required as the first condition according to the first section of the Act of Congress entitled \"An Act to\nestablish an uniform rule of Naturalization, and to repeal the acts heretofore passed on that subject.\"\nApproved 14th of April, 1802, as follows\nSTATE OF CONNECTICUT,\nCOUNTY OF Litelipinal\nss.\nthe it Remembered, That on the\n4th\nday\nof much\nA. D. 1853, before the\nSuperior\nCourt, within and for said County,\nhaving Common Law jurisdiction, with a Clerk and a Seal, per-\nL.S.\nsonally appeared,\nPeter munder\nof\nin said\nCounty, who was born in Brime\naged about 30\nyears, and on oath did declare that\nit was bona fide his intention to become a CITIZEN OF THE\nUNITED STATES, and to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to every foreign Prince, Poten-\ntate, State and Sovereignty, whatever-and particularly to the\nGroumment of Suitreleed\not the United Britain of whom he is now a subject. In Testimony Where-\nof, I, Fuel u Le. Buman\nClerk of said Court, have hereunto set my\nhand, and Seal of the said Court, the day and year aforesaid.\nLuderich Le. Bernan\nClerk.\nAnd it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court, that said muncher\nhas resided\nwithin the United States five years at least,\nand in the State of Connectieut one year at least, and that during said five years\nhe has behaved as a man of good moral character, attached to the principles of the Constitution of the\nUnited States, and well disposed to the good order and happiness of the same.\nAnd the said memann\nhaving declared on oath, that he would support\nthe CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES, and that he did absolutely and entirely renounce\nand abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign Prince, Potentate, State or Sovereignty whatever, and\npartieularly to the Genmane ofthe\nGreat of whom he was before a subject. It was therefore considered by the Court,\nthat tin mundred\nbe, and he was accordingly admitted\nto become a Citizen of the UNITED STATES."
