85 At a Sup a Court, holden at Litchfield, in and for the County of Litchfield, in the State of Connecticut, on the 4th Tuesday of Icmi in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and /ifty sum ban PRESENT-HON. Demic b. Sanland Inder the it Rememberrò, That on the ten the day of mene with in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and lifty cein Petru memblen of An/orh in said County of Litchfield, being an alien and a free white person, appeared in open Court, (the said Court being a Court of Record, having Common Law Jurisdiction, and a Clerk and Seal,) and applied to be admitted to become a citizen of the United States. And the said mundum then exhibited to the Court a Certificate of the declaration of intention made by him before 1 th Superver bunt and required as the first condition according to the first section of the Act of Congress entitled "An Act to establish an uniform rule of Naturalization, and to repeal the acts heretofore passed on that subject." Approved 14th of April, 1802, as follows STATE OF CONNECTICUT, COUNTY OF Litelipinal ss. the it Remembered, That on the 4th day of much A. D. 1853, before the Superior Court, within and for said County, having Common Law jurisdiction, with a Clerk and a Seal, per- L.S. sonally appeared, Peter munder of in said County, who was born in Brime aged about 30 years, and on oath did declare that it was bona fide his intention to become a CITIZEN OF THE UNITED STATES, and to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to every foreign Prince, Poten- tate, State and Sovereignty, whatever-and particularly to the Groumment of Suitreleed ot the United Britain of whom he is now a subject. In Testimony Where- of, I, Fuel u Le. Buman Clerk of said Court, have hereunto set my hand, and Seal of the said Court, the day and year aforesaid. Luderich Le. Bernan Clerk. And it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court, that said muncher has resided within the United States five years at least, and in the State of Connectieut one year at least, and that during said five years he has behaved as a man of good moral character, attached to the principles of the Constitution of the United States, and well disposed to the good order and happiness of the same. And the said memann having declared on oath, that he would support the CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES, and that he did absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign Prince, Potentate, State or Sovereignty whatever, and partieularly to the Genmane ofthe Great of whom he was before a subject. It was therefore considered by the Court, that tin mundred be, and he was accordingly admitted to become a Citizen of the UNITED STATES.
