Original funger\nthe it That on the 25th\nday of September\nin the\nyear of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and\nfifty Deview Damie Kaugh\nof Plymouth\nof Litchfield, being an alien and a free white person,\nappeared in open and\nCourt, (the said Court in said being County a Court of Record, citizen having of the Common United States. Law Jurisdiction, And the\nGamel\na Clerk and Seal,) and applied to be then admitted exhibited to become to the Court a a Certificate of the declaration of intention said\nmade\nby him Raugh before the blerk of the bity bown for the bity of\nnaturational in the Stute formed\nand required as the first condition according to the first section of the Act of Congress entitled \"An Act to\nestablish an uniform rule of Naturalization, and to repeal the acts heretofore passed on that subject.\"\nApproved 14th of April, 1802, as follows:\nSTATE OF CONNECTICUT,\nss.\nCOUNTY OF\nleakly\nthe it Remembered, That on the fifth\nday\nme Theodore f Buel\nof march\nA. D. 1855, before the\nclerk of the bity Court, within and for said, Earth Courty\nhaving Common Law jurisdiction, with a Clerk and a Seal, per-\nsonally appeared,\nL.S.\nDamib Kaugh\nof plymouth in Sitchfuld in said\nCounty, who was born in reland\naged about Zzrin\nyears, and on oath did declare that\nit was bona fide his intention to become a CITIZEN OF THE\nUNITED STATES, and to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to every foreign Prinee, Poteli-\ntate, State and Sovereignty, whatever-and particularly to victoria\ngreen\nof the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, of whom he is now a subject. In Testimony Where-\nof, I, Sheadore S, But\nClerk of said Court, have hereunto set my\nhand, and Seal of the said Court, the day and year aforesaida\nSheodow d. Buel\nClerk.\nwithin the years at least,\nAnd it appearing United to States the satisfaction five of the Court, that said Daniel though has mili minitw resided\nand in the State of Connectient one year at least, and that during said five years\nhe has behaved as a man of good moral character, attached to the principles of the Constitution of the\nUnited States, and weh disposed to the good order and happiness of the same.\nthe said David Kaugh\nhaving declared on oath, that he would support\nthe CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES, and that he did absolutely and entirely renounce\nand abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign Prince, Potentate, State or Sovereignty whatever, and\nparticularly to Victoria Devew\nof the United Kingdom of\nGreat Britain and Ireland, of whom he was before a subject. It was therefore considered by the Court,\nthat said Daniel Raugh be, and he was accordingly admitted\nto become a Citizen of the UNITED STATES."
