Marburdy fusge the it That on the thritule day of in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fiftyleven michael O'bonner appeared in open Court, (the said Court being a Court of Record, having Common Law Jurisdiction, and of Norfolk in said Counfy of Litehfield, being an "alien and a free white person, a Clerk and Seal,) and applied to be admitted to become a citizen of the United States. And the said made Committe by him before blerk of the County bourt for said then exhibited to the Court a Certificate of the declaration of intention County and required as the first condition according to the first section of the Act of Congress entitled "An Actto establish an uniform rule of Naturalization, and to repeal the acts heretofore passed on that subject." Approved 14th of April, 1802, as follows: 1, STATE OF CONNECTICUT, ss. COUNTY OF Selectfield Ale it That on the 14th day of November A. D. 185 , before the clerk of the bounty Court, within and for said County, having Common Law jurisdiction, with a Clerk and a Seal, per- sonally appeared, L. S. Michael O:louner of Norfolk in said County, who was born in dreland aged about 22 years, and on oath did declare that it was bona fide his intention to become a CITIZEN OF THE UNITED STATES, and to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to every foreign Prince, Poteli- tate, State and Sovereignty, whatever-and particularly to Victoria Green of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, of whom he is now a subject. In Testimoni) Where- of, I, Henry 18. graned Clerk of said Court, have hereunto set my hand, and Seal of the said Court, the day and year aforesaid. Menny B.Graves Clerk. O:Domen has resided And it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court, that said within the United States five years at least, and in the State of Connecticut one year at least, and that during said five years he has behaved as a man of good moral character, attached to the principles of the Constitution of the United States, and well disposed to the good order and happiness of the same. Women And the said having declared on oath, that he would support the CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES, and that he did absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign Prince, Potentate, State or Sovereignty whatever, and particularly to Victoria Green of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, of whom he was before a subject. It was therefore considered by the Court, that sait michael be, and he was accordingly admitted to become a Citizen of the UNITED STATES.
