107 Connecticut, At a Inperience on the/mmth Court, holden Tuesday at of Litchfield, Inn in and for the County of Litchfield, in the State of in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred PRESENT-HON. The rs. Buthu fuely the it Remembered, That on the sightenth day of February in the year of our Lord one of Gosher thousand eight hundred and Viftylight William Bralum in said County of Litchfield, being an alien and a free white person, appeared in open Court, (the said Court being a Court of Record, having Common Law Jurisdiction, and a Clerk and Seal,) and applied to be admitted to become a citizen of the United States. And the said Brahun, then exhibited to the Court a Certificate of the declaration of intention made by him before the blun of the County Greut in H/N dive Georgly and required as the first condition according to the first section of the Act of Congress entitled "An Actto establish an uniform rule of Naturalization, and to repeal the acts heretofore passed on that subject." Approved 14th of April, 1802, as follows: STATE OF CONNECTICUT, COUNTY OF Litelifieral } ss. the it Remembered, That on the 19th day of December A. D. 1854, before the leverly Court, within and for said County, having Common Law jurisdiction, with a Clerk and a Seal, per- L.S. sonally appeared, William Bruhan of Gosher in said County, who was born in Ircland aged about thirly years, and on oath did declare that it was bona fide his intention to become a CITIZEN OF THE UNITED STATES, and to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to every foreign Prince, Poten- tate, State and Sovereignty, whatever-and particularly to Victrin Smon of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, of whom he is now a subject. In Testimony Where- of, I, Henry 13 Grains Clerk of said Court, have hereunto set my hand, and Seal of the sald Court, the day and year aforesaid. Money B Grues Clerk. And it appearlng to the satisfaction of the Court, that said Brahan has resided within the United States five years at least, and in the State of Connectieut one year at least, and that during said five years he has behaved as a man of good moral character, attached to the principles of the Constitution of the United States, and well disposed to the good order and happiness of the same. And the said Bruhan having declared on oath, that he would support the CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES, and that he did absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign Prince, Potentate, State or Sovereignty whatever, and partieularly to Vielnius Secure of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, of whom he was before a subject. It was therefore considered by the Court, that William Brahme be, and he was accordingly admitted to become a Citizen of the UNITED STATES.
