50 At a on' the Court, holden Tuesday at of Litchfield, November in and Dev for in the the County year of of our Litchfield, Lord one in thousand the State eight of Connecticut, hundred and f if ly mine PRESENT-HON Charles following Jud, tic Remembered, That on the fex ch it year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty new gamed know day of december in the of thin ches tw in said County of Litehfield, being an alien and a free white person, appeared in open Court, (the said Court being a Court of Record, having Common Law Jurisdiction, and person a Karim Clerk and Seal,) and applied to be admitted to become a citizen of the United States. And the said then exhibited to the Court a Certificate of the declaration of intention made by him before B graves Clurk Court, for send County and required as the first condition according to the first section of the Act of Congress entitled "An Act to establish an uniform rule of Naturalization, and to repeal the acts heretofore passed on that subject." Approved 14th of April, 1802, as follows: STATE OF CONNECTICUE, COUNTY OF the ss. the 24th it That on day of February A. D. 1859 before the blenk of the pup Y Court, within and for said County, having Common Law jurisdiction, with a Clerk and a Seal, per- sonally appeareds Junzer Kamid of in said County, who was born in aged about thirty years, and on oath did declare that it was bona fide his infention to become a CITIZEN OF THE UNITED STATES, and to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to every foreign Prince, Poten- tate, State and Sovereignty, whatever-and particularly to Vectria Theen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, of whom he is now a subject. In Testimony Where- of, I, Hurry 13 greeves Clerk of said Court, have hereunto set/my hand, and Seal of the said Court, the day and year aforesaid. Henry 16. Gravey Clerk. within the United States five years at least, And it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court, that said Jeanses Karin has resided and in the State of Connectient one year at least, and that during said five years he has behaved as a man of good moral character, attached to the principles of the Constitution of the United States, and well disposed to the good order and happiness of the same. And the said James Kann having declared on oath, that he would support the CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES, and that he did absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign Prince, Potentate, State or Sovereignty whatever, and particularly to the Knew of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, of whom he was before a subject. It was therefore considered by the Court, that the Aaid games Kaim be, and he was accordingly admitted to become a Citizen of the UNITED STATES.
