in said County of Litchfield, being an alien and a free white person,
appeared in open Court, (the said Court being a Court of Record, having Common Law Jurisdiction, and
a Clerk and Seal,) and applied to be admitted to become a citizen of the United States. And the said
made by him before H.D.Beeman to lark of the Superior bourt within
John Downs then exhibited to the Court a Certificate of the declaration of intention
for said county
and required as the first condition according to the first section of the Act of Congress entitled "An Actito
