appeared in open Court, (the said Court being a Court of Record, having Common Law Jurisdiction, and
a Clerk and Seal,) and applied to be admitted to become a citizen of the United States. And the said

then exhibited to the Court a Certificate of the declaration of intention
made by him/before Superior court for said County.
and required as the first condition according to the first section of the Act of Congress entitled "An Actio
